Apartment boost for Leeds development

Over 50 apartments have become occupied in the last eight weeks at
a new residential development in Leeds, it has been revealed.
Landmark Development Projects and St James Securities bought up the
apartments at Bridgewater Place owned by developer KW Linfoot -
which has gone into liquidation – and in the two months since
all 49 studios and one and two-bedroom apartments have been let,
the Business Desk reports.
Furthermore, three apartments have been sold, including a top-floor
penthouse.
Director of Landmark Development Projects Chris Gilman said the
company remained "firm in our belief that faith will be restored in
the residential market, with purchasers regaining
confidence".
The strategy of converting apartments for rental purposes with
refurbishments and a concierge service had helped bring about this
"phenomenal success", he stated.
Bridgewater Place is a mixed-use development, which also has
offices and restaurants as part of the complex, plus a basement car
park with 400 spaces.
